* Pay-per-use calling/SMS charges apply separately. See below for details. Any calls/SMS texts made during a billing cycle (billing cycle = 1st to the end of the month) are charged 5-6 weeks after. * Basic fee of first month (day of sign-up to end of month) is free. Billing commences on the 1st of the following month. * Minimum contract period is three full billing months (first month does not count as a billing month). Cancellations can be accepted after the 3rd month of contract. Cancellation must be requested online and the service will be terminated at the end of the billing cycle. * Switching between data plans (5GB) can be done for no additional charge and the change takes effect on the 1st of the following month. *Switching between voice plans (Data-only or Data+SMS/Voice) require the SIM card to be replaced, therefore is considered as a cancellation of the existing subscription and application under the new plan. Cancellation policies apply. * If the SIM card is damaged / lost or requires replacement for any other reason, a reissue fee of 1,500 JPY will incur.

Unlimited Calling can be offered to Data+SMS/Voice plans, to avert pay-per-use calling charges, at a flat rate of an additional 3,000JPY/month to the monthly fee of the base plan. This option can be activated/deactivated only on the 1st of each month, and requires notice by the 25th of the previous month. Unlimited calls pertain to standard domestic calls only. Calls to certain numbers and international numbers are not included in the unlimited calling plan.

An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM card built into some smartphones. It can be programmed remotely to receive our plans. Before applying, a client must prepare a compatible smartphone and its EID, along with a credit card and piece of ID.
* An EID is a 32-digit number that can be found in the smartphone settings. We accept EIDs that start with 89049032, 89033023, 89033024, 89043051, 89043052
* Whenever the EID changes, the eSIM needs to be re-issued (fee = 1,500JPY) * If the downloading process of the eSIM plan is interrupted, or if the eSIM plan is deleted from the smartphone, the eSIM needs to be made re-downloadable on the system (fee = 1,500JPY) * After the eSIM plan is downloaded to the smartphone, you must install our APN profile to access the cellular data.
SonixNet provides their services only to those whose identification is verified with official/legal documents with the user’s name, date of birth, residential address, and photograph stated. An application without presentation of a valid ID is void.
A compatible device is required to be prepared by the user. A list of tested compatible devices is available on Assist Solutions website. Assist Solutions cannot be held liable for issues caused by incompatibility.

If SIM card is damaged/lost and requires replacing, a fee of 1,500 JPY is incurred.
Call waiting and voice mail can be activated as separate paid options.
Calling and SMS charges are pay-per-use and are incurred separately. Unlimited Calling option offers a flat rate to domestic basic calls. A full description can be found on Assist Solutions website.
Data service is not suitable for contents and activities that require continuous large amounts of data transfer. SonixNet will not be responsible for any damages and inconveniences caused by bandwidth cappings.
SIM is activated as 4G by default. Activating 5G can be requested via Assist Solutions/SonixNet SIM client portal website.
International cellular/data roaming are disabled by default. International roaming can be enabled at request only for calling/texting. Pay-per-use charges are incurred separately. Full description of international calling rates can be found on NTT Docomo’s website. A limit of 50,000 JPY monthly is applied to roaming calling charges (upgrades available upon request). International data roaming cannot be provided. Unlimited Calling option does not pertain to international usage.
Service cancellations must be requested to Assist Solutions with a designated cancellation form. SIM card is to be returned to Assist Solutions. Monthly fee of cancellation month is incurred in full, and cannot be prorated. Pay-per-use fees are invoiced approximately two months after, and a user is required to maintain a valid credit card on file until the final payments are completed.
SonixNet SIM is a versatile data communications service coping with the area of NTT Docomo’s Xi and FOMA.
Application and subscription renewal is to take place on SonixNet website.
The SIM card enclosed in this package is delivered to the user after its activation is completed.
According to the purchase of Assist Solutions’ service, in no circumstances will the customer be able to return, refund, exchange, or reissue a purchased service package.
The customer cannot cancel their subscription to the service within the minimum contract term of three months, return the subscription bundle, or request for a refund, after the purchase procedure for the SIM card is completed, regardless of the data usage.
The customer must register with a valid email address upon subscribing to the service. The customer must notify Assist Solutions immediately if the email address is changed.
If the customer’s email address is invalid, Assist Solutions can terminate the customer’s subscription without prior notice.
Payment for SonixNet SIM service is by credit card payment only. A change of credit card must be notified to Assist Solutions immediately.
Regardless of the inability to receive service due to weak signal within or outside a coverage area, charges associated with the service, such as activation fee, device rental fee, and monthly access fee will accrue.
Failure of payment can result in account termination. Terminations can take place without prior notice to the customer.
The SIM card is for rental. Any modifications on the SIM card such as cutting and reshaping without permission are strictly prohibited.
The rental SIM card is to be returned to Assist Solutions after termination of the account.
According to the purchase and use of Assist Solutions services, the customer may not belong to any of the following. If the customer belongs to any of the following, SonixNet and Assist Solutions will be obliged to terminate the service and cancel the purchase of the SIM card with immediate effect:

Resale of SonixNet products is strictly prohibited.
The minimum service requirement period is activation month + 3 billing months. After this period, the service will switch to a monthly service and you will be able to cancel at the end of each month.
Whenever the SIM card is used with a new device, the APN profile would need to be installed on said device. Please refer to the APN Setup Guide in the Documents section to check how the profile can be installed.
Yes, by adding the prefix “0063” in front of the number that you would like to call, you will be able to make International calls with the SIM card. An application called “Otoku Call” by Freebit can also be used to make the calls. Calls made through this app will automatically have the 0063 prefix added in front of the number. *Overseas use for our SIM card is disabled by default.
To cancel, please log into the SonixNet SIM Management Website and send us a cancellation request before the 25th to cancel your account at the end of the month. For example, cancellation requests will need to be sent in by May 25th, in order to cancel at the end of May.
